My mother passed and with anxiety and grief overtaking me, the owner/operator Lavelle Bing comforted and assured me that all will be well. She walked me through the process, called and or text to make sure I did not not need anything through the process. She is an extremely professional, God fearing woman who knows her job and loves helping others. I honestly felt as if my Mom was cared for like a family member. Lavelle, You we’re so caring, helpful when Terry moved to Heaven. You were there at 4a.m. To take care of him at the hospital and released me to go home. You came into the room so quietly at first I didn’t know you were there. Lavelle you helped my girls and I make arrangements for Terry with no pressure for anything. The flower arrangements you made were beautiful, everything was lovely. Thank you so much for all you did for us. I will never forget.

I would recommend this business because never have I ever been treated so good as well as being comforted through the process. Miss Lavelle is truly an amazing lady and business person. After dealing with her one time, I promise you nobody else will ever have my business again but her. My Family and I would like to thank Lavelle and her team at Apostle I Funeral Home for the warmest, heartfelt services that they were able to provide and bless us with. Lavelle and her awesome team have been family to us since we were first referred to Her by Dolly McClendon when we lost my adopted father several years ago. In July of 2020 we lost my biological father and my mother in law due to Covid just a few days apart. Apostle I was able to come in and take things over without missing a beat. She makes it look easy and I know that it's not. That is because Lavelle and her team exude a certain professionalism that is hard to find these days while at the same time being considerate and understanding of everything that must come together including all the different and sometimes difficult personalities. Let me tell you about the owner of Apostle I Funeral Home. Lavelle is the most professional & compassionate funeral director I know. Being in the funeral industry for over 15 years did not prepare me for the loss I experienced when my Poppy passed away. I am so thankful that Lavelle was there to help guide my grandmother through the arrangement process. But her care did not start or end there.

Lavelle came to our house multiple times to bring food & other necessities prior to Poppy’s passing. When Poppy wanted ice cream, she ran to get him some. After he passed, Lavelle came to the house before Hospice arrived and dressed him in the clothes we picked out for him. She arranged a beautiful service with our church and her staff was professional & attentive to our needs.

Lavelle at Apostle One was so professional,kind and helpful when our family was making decisions for Terry’s Celebration of life. No pressure for anything. She even came to Complex Care at 2 am after Terry passed. Lavelle was so wonderful,it is difficult to describe. The bottom line is, I’m extremely particular when making arrangements for Flowers’s and the care of my loved ones. Lavelle far exceeded what I wanted or expected, therefore I highly recommend her for caring for your family member after they have gone to meet the Lord. Lavelle is a dear friend of mine since middle school. She provides personal service and has a heart like no other. She took care of my mother in law seven years ago and this week my dad who unexpectedly passed away. She provides comfort in a time of need. She will take care of your loved one.

Ms. Lavelle truly took the time to sit and talk about who my father was and all that he stood for. She asked pertinent questions to establish just the right service program for him as she explained that no two people are alike and should never be given the same service. My family was amazed at the transformation of the church for the service as we were blown away with the great detail she put into it. My father looked amazingly young as she seemingly was able to take fifteen years off of him (hands of magic...... I call them). The staff was professional and looked the part. When I say there is no room for improvement, I mean there is no room for improvement. I by far recommend Apostle I Funeral Home to everyone. There are many funeral homes in the area but NONE that will provide the personal detail and care as Apostle I Funeral Home and staff.
