Willie Serreia Obituary

Willie Serreia Jr., who passed away on April 18, 2023, at 83. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of many.
Willie was born in Manatee County, Florida, on January 19, 1940, to William Serreia Sr. and Jessie Mae Morrison. He received his education in the Manatee County Public School System and was a lifelong county resident until 2000, when he moved to Daytona Beach, FL. He returned to Manatee County to be with his family in October 2022.  Throughout his life, Willie held various jobs, including school bus driver for Manatee County Schools, long haul truck driver for Donald Duck Orange Juice Co., and security personnel before retiring in 2008. Willie was a hard worker who took pride in providing for his family.
Willie was a family man who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, especially his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Willie's legacy will live on through the memories he created with those who loved him. His passing is a significant loss to his family and friends, but they take solace in knowing he is at peace and will always be in their hearts.
Willie is preceded in death by his parents William Serreia Sr., and Jessie Mae Morrison; his wife Emma Serreia; son Willie Serreia III; sisters  Corrine Morrison, Mae Francis Spencer, and Lorethia Brown and  grandson Benny Love Jr.
Willie is survived by his children Jessie Mae Marc, Walter (Kathy) Serreia, Sammy (Norma) Serreia, Wanda (Michael) Bouie, Donda Williams (Junior Lessley), Sandra Lewis, and Russell (Lynette) Serreia; his grandchildren Latina Williams, Latrina Williams, Annette Ingram, Latasha Serreia, Demond (Shavonne) Sams, Glenn and (Erica) Davis, Albany Sams, Deonte Everette, Lawanda James, Akeem Serreia, LaRonda James, Lashamere Hall, Lakesha Hall-Edmond, Te'yauna Serreia;  goddaughter Doraine (Robinson) Isom, and special friends Emmerson Martin and Lois Sturgis and a host of great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and  friends.
