William Lee Blandin was born June 20, 1945 to the late parents Nathaniel and Mary Louise Blandin.
William was the 4th child of 13 children; 8 siblings preceded in death. They were Nathaniel Jr., Mary Katherine, Eddie Lee, Ernest, Azeline,Verline, Flora, and Linda.
Brother William Blandin, became a member of "The House Of God Church" at the age of five under the leadership of Reverend Nero and Elder Evelyn Jones. As a young child he grew-up in church and later joined his family's Quartet singing group, called "The Golden Echos". The family sang in different church programs in Arcadia and the surrounding areas. After he moved back to Arcadia, Brother William started a new Quartet group called "The Spiritual Echoes". Brother Blandin recommitted himself back to " The House Of God Church '' Arcadia, is where he played musical instruments in the church services. Additionally, he taught, and trained young musicians how to play guitars in the service of the Lord.
Brother William Blandin loved his family and friends in the community, so much so that he utilized his Architectural skills, Handyman, and Construction Work to build homes for people in the community, who were less fortunate than others. Brother William Lee Blandin, truly was a valuable asset to " The House Of God Church" and in the community. He will be greatly missed.by his family and everyone who knew him He leaves to mourn his passing a devoted wife Caroline Blandin, two brothers, Ezekiel Blandin ( Vannessa) of Port Charlotte Florida, Marvin Blandin ( Coral ) of Augusta Georgia, two sisters Karen Faul and Jereline Blandin of Arcadia Florida. Five daughters, Dr. Sheryl Mosley ( Jack) of Winter Haven Florida, Darlette Williams ( Tyrone ) of Winter Haven Florida, Shaquita Armstrong
(Lamont) , of Winter Haven Florida, Julie Sobczak ( Jason ) of Greer South Carolina, and Catrinia Parker Sheppard ( Charlie ) of Arcadia Florida, Three sons Otis Blandin ( Katrina) Charles Taiwan Blandin, of Wauchula Florida, and one son preceded in death Ricky Blandin. Brother William had twenty-five grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren ,a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews. and friends. William will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him.
