Tellie (Tellie Bing) Hammonds

Tellie Hammonds was born February 19, 1946 to parents John and Hattie Bing.  She was employed for many years by the Manatee County School Board as a cook and would often times take the community under her wings making sure they were fed.  Tellie was a loving mother who was known for saying what she meant and meant what she said. She answered the call from God on September 16, 2021 at 9:30pm and found herself in his comforting arms.  Tellie leaves fond memories to her daughter Carolyn Yon and son James Yon; brothers Richard and Robert; sisters Sue Mae, Minnie Pearl, Johnnie Mae and Pat along with a host of loving family and friends.  Tellie will be surely missed by all that knew her.  A private family Memorial Service will be held 11am Saturday, September 25, 2021.
