We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Apostle I Funeral Home, LLC
Milton Percival Cameron was one of eight children born to Ishmael and Leanora Cameron in Little River, Rose Hall, St. James, Jamaica. In his youth, he enlisted in the Royal Air Force in November 1944 and was honorably discharged in 1945 at the end of the 2nd World War. He began his career with Aluminum Company of Canada (ALCAN) in 1951 and retired after 40 years of faithful service.
He married Daphne Louise Levy on January 5, 1952 and together they embarked in community service on four missionary journeys planting churches in Jamaica with the Christian Brethren Assemblies (Galilee Gospel Hall, Carmel Gospel Hall, Harbour View Gospel, Cana Gospel Hall).
They emigrated to the United States in 2000 residing in Bradenton, Florida until his passing. They joined the fellowship at Grace Gospel Chapel, St Petersburg, Florida, their fifth missionary journey. Together they soon volunteered at the Bradenton Missionary Village (a community of retired missionaries) serving faithfully in the Bible Alliance ministry assembling audio Bibles for worldwide distribution to the blind.
He is survived by children: Maureen, Milton Jr., Floreyce, David, Ruth, John, Andrew, and Sharon-Rose. He is also survived by his only remaining sibling Mavis Thomas, 28 grand and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 10:30-11am with service to follow (both at Bible Baptist Church 2113 57th Street East Bradenton, Florida 34208).
