Mable Williams Gibbons

Mable "Bumpy" Williams Gibbons was born January 9, 1942 to parents Arthur and Maebell Williams in Sarasota, Florida. She had a passion to fish and loved singing and playing the drums.  Bumpy as she was affectionately known as enjoyed playing dominos and checkers.  She was a member of a gospel group and loved going to various churches in Sarasota.  Regardless of everything she was involved in the community, Bumpy loved her family and grandkids so much.  She is predeceased by her parents and two children but leaves fond memories to her sister "Joeella" (Philip) Cadogan; brother Harry Lee (Yolonda) Williams; grandchildren Tocarra, Tony, Michael, Dannerius, Kryshawn, Curtis, Tene, Dwight, Aquiles, Cleave, Zavian and Fiona; daughter in love Queen Pettway and a host of great grandchildren, extended family and friends.  Homegoing Celebration will be held 11am Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Mt. Calvary 1st Baptist Church 1494 Dr MLK Jr Way Sarasota, Florida 34234.
