Leo Gillis

Leo Gillis was born June 30, 1955 in Bradenton, Florida to parents Leo Gilbert and Lue Emma Gillis.  He was educated by the School Board of Manatee County and was the type of man who said what he meant and meant what he said.  Leo loved his family and did what he could for and with them.  He  enjoyed riding his bicycle and named it the “Cadillac”.  Leo passed away April 12, 2024 in Bradenton, Florida.  He leaves cherished memories to his mother Lue Emma Watson; son Frederick Lee Kelly; sister Yvonne (Rodney) Lamb; brothers Ralph (Jackie) Thomas, Jessie Gillis and Cornelius Clayton; grandchildren Frederick Lee Kelly Jr and Jaqula Jones; special friend Darrell Fields and a host of extended, loving family and friends.
