Lateasha Roshanda Brookins

Lateasha (“TT”) Roshanda Brookins born March 23, 1979 in Bradenton Florida to Dorothea Green. She exuded laughter and love and as a strong believer in Christ she shared with others to keep their faith in God and put him first and family second. She was a motivated entrepreneur that loved to cook, laugh, play bingo and have fun. Lateasha loved her children, grand daughter and family tremendously and the joy that only she could bring will truly be missed. Lateasha is preceded in Heaven by her Mother Dorothea Green and Father Carl Brookins Sr.; Siblings Terry and Calvin; Grandmother Sarah Bess. Uncles Anthony Virgil, Lee Rodgers Green, Milton Green; Aunties Erma Lou Fordham, and Antoinette Carter and special cousin Katina Green.  Lateasha leaves behind a legacy of light and love to her Husband: Edwards Gordon Sr. , Children: Brianna Brookins (Brittany), Dequaries Searles, Wangue “Billy” Caldwell, Dortavia Billy, Dortavian Billy, Lucknar Joachin Jr, Edward Gordon II, Siblings: Bridgett Edwards (Nigel Sr), Carolyn Brookins, Carl Brookins Jr., Jessica McDaniels, and Vanesia McDaniels, Grand Daughter Ka’mora Cooper.  A host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunties, uncles and extended loving family and friends.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held 10am Friday December 8, 2023 at the funeral home.
