Kenneth Young Sr.

Kenneth Young peacefully transitioned into rest on December 12, 2020 at Beneva Lakes Nursing Home in Sarasota, Florida. He was born on July 11, 1956 in Columbia,
South Carolina to the late Gus and Eartha Young. Kenneth was educated in the Sarasota County School System and graduated from Riverview High School where he played
basketball. His love for basketball earned him a scholarship to college.
Through the years, Kenneth was employed for Allied Van Lines, Bekins Van Lines, Inc., and Yarnall Warehouse in Sarasota, Florida. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he
worked for various other moving companies. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Charles and Frank Young, and sister Lizzie Mae Fordham. Kenneth loved his family and leaves to cherish the memories of his life to his children: Kenneth Young Jr., Crystal Gore, Eric Young, Jeramie Young, Bryan Williams, Felicia Bacon, Gary Young, Lenita Bacon, Staycia Young; sister, Rosa Williams, brother in law, Charles Williams of Oxonhill Maryland and a host of
grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.  Viewing will be held 6-8pm Saturday, 720 Manatee Avenue West Bradenton, Florida with Graveside service 1pm Sunday at Palms Robarts  Memorial Park 170 Honore Avenue Sarasota, Florida.  Please leave a condolence or light a candle on our tribute wall in memory of Kenneth.
