Josephine Ann Hayes Griffin was born December 17, 1959 to parents Otis Blue and Sallie Hayes in Bradenton, Florida. She was educated by the Manatee County School System and became a Housekeeper. Josephine was known to many as Linda and is remembered for always making people laugh. She was a great cooked and she loved her family so much. Linda answered the call from the Lord on April 25, 2024 in Sarasota, Florida with her family surrounding her. She is preceded in death by her grandmother Reatha Hayes, mother Sallie Hayes-Blue; sister Chris Myrick and brother Ray Andy Blue and leaves cherished memories to her daughter Latessa Timmons and son Troy Hayes; father Otis (Gladys) Blue; sisters Patricia Sturgis, Yolanda Mays, Tracey Skinner, Brenda (Charles) Woods, Carrie Pierce and Sabrina (Stanley) Wisdom; brothers Brian (Nefertiti) Tate and Larry Blue; aunts Annestine (Ben) Pompey, Lula Davis, Sheila Lilly, Donna Hayes, Gwen Louis and Phyllis Hayes; uncles Morris (Valerie) Hayes and Mitchell Hayes; grandchildren Travon Rumph, Ty’rek Bell, Ty’Quez Hayes, Ty’rek Hayes, Taniya Hayes Honesti Riley, Jamillion Cooper and Zydarrian James; best friends Andolyn Brooks, Zina Mitchell and Emma Trump and a host of extended family and sorrowing friends. Viewing will be held 6-8pm at the Funeral Home and Funeral 1pm Saturday, May 3rd 2024 at St Paul MB Church 525 MLK Avenue East Bradenton, Florida 34208
