Freeman Johnson, Jr., beloved husband, brother, uncle, stepfather and friend who resided in Bradenton, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 18, 2024.
Freeman was born February 20, 1946 in Kalamazoo, MI, to Freeman Johnson and Emma Borntreger. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1963, where he served honorably. He was employed in several professions including masonry, welding, and as an electrician to name a few. He married Pamela (Cole) Johnson on September 4, 2013. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to church, and reading his Bible.
Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, Freeman and Emma Johnson, four brothers and one sister.
Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Pamela Johnson, his brother Kenny Johnson (IN), his sister Tina (Rocky) Sheffield (MD) and stepdaughters, Toshene (Samuel) Jordan (FL) and Pamela Fripp (FL). Also his loving sister-in-laws Linda Johnson (IN), Jackie Cole (FL), Elaine Bailey (Phila. PA), and several others. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, five grandchildren, two great granddaughters (Halo and Harmony) and also other relatives and many friends.
