Dwayne Lamar Blue Sr. 57 of Bradenton, Florida answered the call of the Lord on January 17, 2023. He graduated from Manatee High School in 1983, later enlisting in the Army Reserve where he served for 5 Years. Once leaving the Army, he became employed with the City of Bradenton in 1988 and remained a faithful employee until his passing. Dwayne was also a faithful youth football coach for 30 years.
In 1995 he met the love of his life Nakesha Thomas and in 1998 the two joined in holy matrimony, where they raised their six beautiful loving children.
Dwayne was a man who loved to fish & landscape. He displayed a loving & caring personality as he was outgoing and friendly. He had a huge compassion for people and those he came in contact with. He would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need. He was his children’s favorite mechanic as he would often repair their cars when needed. He was a family man and his grand kids were his entire world. He will be missed and cherished by all who genuinely loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Simon & Shirley Williams and leaves cherished memories to his wife of 25 years Nakesha Blue; children Dwayne (Annie) Blue Jr., Kelvet (Alexandria) Fuller Jr., Keondra (Amos) Smith, Desmond Blue, Thomas Kelly Jr., Dakeveya Blue. father Willie Blue; siblings Tracy (Wendell) Williamson, Simon (Sarah) Williams, Tonetta Blue, Shateka (Michael) Blue, Yalunda (Jermiane) Jamison, Willie Lee Blue Jr., Chauncy Blue, Andre Blue. grandchildren Ma’keria, Ci’nyah, Kemari, Taylen, Ga’zyriah, Ma’kiya, Demauria, Mo’nae, Ma’lyrica; “Expecting Amazi” and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
