Obituary
Dorothea Green was born July 21, 1955 in Palmetto Florida to Sarah Bess and West Green. She attended Lincoln High School where she ran track. She had a passion for helping others, a real people person who loved to sing and clean. Dorothea loved her family dearly especially her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in Heaven by her mother Sarah Bess, Father West Green; Children Terry and Calvin; Siblings Anthony Virgil, Lee Rodgers Green, Milton Green, Erma Lou Fordham, and Antoinette Carter. Dorothea leaves behind a legacy of love to her children Bridgett Edwards (Nigel Sr), Latesha Gordon (Edward Sr), Jessica McDaniels, and Vanesia McDaniels; Siblings Jimmie Green, Lynda Green, Kathy Green; Grandchildren Nigel Edwards II (Kristen), Brianna Brookins (Brittany), Dequaries Searles, Aaron Edwards, Wangue “Billy” Caldwell, Jordan Edwards, Dortavia Billy, Dortavian Billy, Lucknar Joachin Jr, Edward Gordon II, Kenyon Edwards, Jayla Morgan; Great Grandchildren Maliyah Edwards, Ka’mora Cooper. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a host of extended loving family and friends. Celebration of Life service will be held 11:30am Saturday, July 22, 2023 at First Community COGIC 1107 29th Street East Palmetto, Florida 34221.
