Demetrius A. Fields was born January 21, 1972 to parents Clarence and Rosemary Presha Fields in Bradenton, Florida. He answered the call from the Lord on June 10, 2024. Demetrius was educated in Manatee County and furthered his career by earning a Associates Degree. Demetrius was always the person that others could rely upon as being their protector and friend. He loved watching any type of shows or movies that included martial arts. Though he was quiet, he was vocal when he felt he needed to get his point across. He loved the game of football and Ohio State was his favorite team. Demetrius is preceded in death by his mother Rosemary and his grandparents Clarence Fields Sr., Dall Fields, Eddie Presha and Victoria Mays. He leaves cherished memories to his father Clarence (Lynne) Fields Jr.; children Dominique Fields, Demetrius Fields Jr. and Damiana Fields; grandchildren Jeremiah, Jrue and Jiya; siblings Tikisha, Nikia, Akilah (William) Neidecker and Donovan Fields Miller; aunts Janice (Thomas) Fields Johnson and Betty Woodson; special friend Shaznequia Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. Viewing will be held 12-1pm Friday, June 21, 2024 with service to immediately follow (both at Happy Gospel Church) 1915 53rd Avenue East Bradenton, Florida
