Charlotte Jane Underwood

Our beloved Mother, Charlotte Jane Underwood, 76, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2018 at Tidewell hospice of Bradenton, Florida.  During her long battle with cancer, she always expressed her desire to place all things in God's hands.  Through her faith and His tender mercy, she is now at peace with Him.  Charlotte was the youngest child of Willis and Madeline Underwood, and part of a large blended family of Sisters Elainor, Joann, Barbara “Bobbie”, and Brothers Donald and Thomas “Corky”.  Charlotte was very proud to be a Mother to four children; Dudley Motlow Jr., Melanie Motlow-Newhall, Maria Perry (Mark) and John Motlow.  She was also a doting grandmother to Brett Motlow, Sydney Newhall and Joseph Perry, whom she cherished.  Charlotte enjoyed tending to her plants and spending time under her giant oak tree in her yard.  She had many lifelong friends who enriched her life as well. Rest now dear Mother your work here is done, your soul is at peace and your heart is safely enveloped in eternal love. Services to celebrate Charlotte’s life will be held at Griffith Cline Funeral Home under the direction of Apostle I Funeral Home 6-8pm  Tuesday, November 20, 2018 720 Manatee Avenue West, Bradenton, Florida.
