Bonner Edward “Slim” Welch went home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 9, 2016.  He was a Korean War Veteran having received numerous medals for his service to our country. 

Born in Water Valley, Mississippi on March 22, 1932.  He lived a majority of his life in Louisiana and the remaining 18 years in Bradenton, Florida. 

He is survived by his wife of 21 years: Lily of Bradenton, Florida; Daughter: Melissa Dunn (Bradenton); Sons: Edward Welch (Bradenton), Curtis Welch (Walker, Louisiana) and Dale Welch (Independence, Louisiana).  He is preceded in death by his Father: Barney Belton Welch and Mother: Mable Welch; Sisters: Maudie Welch Dover and Jamie Christine Welch McGuff, Son: Wade Franklin Welch Sr. and Grand Daughter: Melanie Welch.  Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Louisiana.
