Friday, March 20, 2020, we said our goodbyes to our mother, Barabara Geisleman Came. She is the mother of four children, Chaun Louise McGuire, William Joseph Came (Amanda Carter Came), Sara LeAnn Dugan, and Mary Elizabeth Davis (Don Davis). She has eight grandchildren, Peyton Daniels, Keith McGuire, Nicolas Dugan, Miranda Dugan (Erica Ellis), Chloe Came, Cameron Frazier (Mary Elizabeth Frazier), Zachary Davis (Rebecca Davis), Brandon Davis, and Connor Davis. Finally, she has two great-grandchildren, Corgan Latsch and Xander Daniels. Her grandson, Zachary and his wife, Rebecca, are expecting their first child, great-grandchild number three. Barbara was preceded in death by our father, and her husband, William George Came, her brother, Donald Edward Geisleman, and her parents, Bertis Merill Geisleman and Charlotte Louise Coan Geisleman. Barbara lived out the belief that, if you can read, you can learn anything. She taught herself to play a number of musical instruments, sew, crochet, any number of crafts. She wrote poetry and was a member of several writers’ groups. She will be missed.
