Angie Gonzalez

Angie Gonzalez (lifelong resident) was born February 17th, 1971 to parents Roberto and Marie Gonzalez in Bradenton, Florida.  She answered the call of the Lord on August 19th, 2024.  

Angie graduated from Manatee High School in 1989, with her larger-than-life personality and smile; She lived her life to the fullest; She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and knew no stranger in this world.  Anytime Angie walked into the room, her beaming personality and laugh took over. As a bonafide “people person” she enjoyed the presence of friends and family more than anything, with her greatest joy being the love she shared for her family. Angie had a contagious laugh and a hearty appetite for life. Going out to eat was one of her favorite past times and if you knew her, she had her favorite restaurants and meals.

Angie is preceded in death by her father Roberto Gonzalez Sr. and her son Christopher Gonzalez and is is survived by her mother and best friend, Marie Gonzalez; daughter Arika McCormack; sister Anna Rentz; brother Robert (Ruby) Gonzalez Jr.; niece Christina (David) Norton and  nephew Joshua (Hannah) Rentz. In addition to her immediate family, Angie is survived by her large Texas family comprised of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins as well as an abundance of close family and friends near and far.

The family asks for those attending the service to wear PURPLE to honor Angie and to come with your best memories and stories. Angie was a vibrant person full of life, laughter and so much love, the family appreciates all prayers and love that have been shared.
