Rosebud Bennett

Rosebud Bennett was born November 28, 1931 in Palmetto, Florida to parents Jasper and Vella Mitchell.  She was a wonderful cook, loving mother and friend.  Rosebud gave her life to Christ at the age of 16 years old and was a member of St. Luke Primitive Baptist Church in Palmetto, Florida.  She sang in the Choir and was a member of the Trustee Board until her age prevented her from doing so.  Rosebud worked for a local doctor and attorney caring for their children.  She was a great cook and a born nurturer. Rosebud was a Eastern Star who leaves fond memories to her daughters Shirley (Phillip) Chapman, Patricia Bennett, Theresa Lang, Linda (Anthony) Milledge, Brenda Hunt and Bernadine Love; sons Arthur (Barbara) Williams, Carlton (Sylvia) Bennett; sister Lillian Epps, 31 grandchildren and a host of grandchildren and extended family and loving friends.  Viewing will be held 6-8 pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at Happy Gospel Church with Funeral 11am Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Happy Gospel Church 1915 53rd Avenue East Bradenton, Florida 34208.
