Julia Mae McDaniels 78 of Bradenton, was born March 3, 1941 in Live Oak, Florida to her parents Jessie and Kizzie McDaniels. She went to school in Live Oak and later moved to Bradenton, Florida where she was a loving mother, sister and friend. Julia was a great cooked and she enjoyed making sure the entire neighborhood was fed with her home cooking. She often opened her home to anyone in need and was the type who never met a stranger. One of her favorite past times were watching "WRESTLING" live or on television. Julia was the known in the neighborhood for babysitting everyone's child at some point in their lives. She is already missed by those who knew her, leaving precious memories to her Sons: Andrew (Beverly) Vance III, Robert (Mariah) Dawes Jr. and Terrance McDaniels; Daughters: Florine Dawes, Gloria Dawes, Michelle Dawes and Benisia (Joseph) Barnes; Sisters: Pearlie Womack, and Maggie (James) Gardner; Brother: Joe (Helen) McDaniels; 22 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Visitation will be held 6-8pm Friday, March 29, 2019 at 720 Manatee Avenue West Bradenton, Florida 34205 and Homegoing Service 12 Noon Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Ward Temple AME Church 1005 5th Street West Bradenton, Florida 34205. Burial will take place in Adams Rogers Cemetery.
