Karla Denise Sumpter was called home by the Lord on January 6, 2018. Born April 23, 1971 to Delores Reeves and Amos Sumpter, Karla attended Southeast High School in Manatee County. She lived in Manatee County and later moved to Tampa, Florida. Karla loved cooking and hosting family functions. She had a big heart, was genuine and loved meeting and bringing people together.  She leaves to cherish fond memories to her Son: Landrick Edwards, Jachia Johnson and Daqay Graham. Mother: Delores Roberts of Bradenton, Florida; Father: Amos Sumpter of Houston, Texas; Brother: Lee Roberts of Bradenton, Florida; Paternal Grandmother: Naomi Sumpter of Miami, Florida; Uncle: Richard (Debra) Reeves of Bradenton, Florida; Niece: Destiny Smith of Bradenton, Florida; The Love of Her Life: Linda Evans of Tampa, Florida and Two God Sisters: Monica Jackson and Maggie Blackshear both of Tampa, Florida and a host of other Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and Friends.  Karla will be dearly missed by all that knew her.  Visitation will be noon with funeral to follow at 1pm (both at Griffith Cline Funeral Home under the direction of Apostle I Funeral Home 941-782-8193.
